Took my Oath of Enlistment at the Newark MEPS in January 1990 as part of the Delayed Entry Program and later attended Basic Combat Training at C Company, 795th Military Police Battalion(Tng), Fort McClellan, AL in July 1990. I was then assigned to the 157th Seperate Infantry Brigade(Mech), Military Police Platoon (Horsham, PA) from 1990-1991 (US Army Reserve), until I could attend Advanced Idividual Training at E Company, 795th Military Police Battalion(Tng), Fort McClellan, AL in July 1991. Upon successfully completing Military Police training, I relocated and joined the 112th Military Police Battalion (Canton, MS) from 1991-1994 (MS National Guard). In the Fall of 1994, I decided to enlist on active duty and was assigned to the 55th Military Police Company (Camp Page, ROK) from 1994–1995. After my tour of duty in Korea, I had follow on assignment to the 978th Military Police Company(CS) (Ft Bliss, TX) from 1995-1997. As part of a reenlistment option, I was then assigned to the Law Enforcement Activity (Ft Jackson, SC) from 1997-1999. I then came up on assignment to the 249th Military Police Detatchment(CF) (Camp Humphreys, ROK) from 1999-2001. Upon completing my second tour of duty in Korea, I was given orders to the 10th Mountain Division(Light) (Ft Drum, NY) from 2001–2003, during which time I deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Bagram, Afghanistan) from April-October 2003. As part of a second reenlistment option, I was then assigned to the USFK Provost Marshal (Yongsan ROK) from 2003-2006.
Highlights: served as Game Warden, Correctional Officer, Schools/Training NCO and Military Customs Clearance NCO, promoted to Sergeant (31B20), awarded Expert Marksmanship Badge(Pistol & Rifle)
