Computer Science & Technology
Completed 28 hours of coursework towards Associate in Applied Science in Computer Technology on the use, application and technological developments of computers in a changing electronic environment. Course work is aimed at developing skills in the business or personal computing environment. Specifically, the courses provide instruction in the following areas: computer applications in the business environment and current trends and development in computers; graphical applications; electronic spreadsheets; database; word processing; and computer operating systems.

Military Specialized Skills Training
The Army provides specialized skills training for Soldiers who want to advance their Army careers. Soldiers meeting the right criteria may attend specialized schools and leadership training. Ongoing training opportunities include tactical, technical, physical, and leadership development. These programs help Soldiers to develop skills for an Army career and beyond.

Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course
Phase I: Consists of an 80 hour, small group facilitated supervised classroom web-based common core program and multiple performance evaluations. Phase I, which provides Common Leader Training (CLT) instruction, uses small group instruction process to teach the theory and principles of battle-focused common core training, leadership, consideration of others, and war fighting skills required to lead a squad sized element in combat.
Phase II: a required 90-day branch-specific resident phase that provides MOS-specific training for the soldier. This course provides Soldiers selected for promotion to SSG an opportunity to acquire the leader, technical, and tactical skills, knowledge and experience needed to lead squad/platoon size units. Emphasis is placed upon leadership, effective communications, professional skills, resource management, military studies, assigned/inherent duties, and responsibilities authority of the SL2 NCO.

Military Customs Inspection Training
Consists of 80 hours of specialized classroom and field training to assist and cooperate with US and Foreign Host Nation’s Border Clearance agencies in halting the flow of contraband through military channels both into the US and Foreign Host Nations. Four written exams are administered covering Effective Management, Leadership, Administrative Procedures, and Problem Solving Analysis.

Consists of 100 hours of specialized classroom and field training. Training was administered covering Advanced Investigation Techniques, Conduct Child Interviews, and Cyber-Era Crimes Against Youths.
